Lions Club Information Meeting Monday June 22nd at the Library

The Newmarket Lions Club has been serving the community for more than 11 years. Like many other service organizations, the Lions Club needs to members to continue serving those in our community requiring assistance. The Newmarket Lions Club has purchased eyeglasses for those in need, provided scholarships for deserving students, and donated food to the food pantry. Their support has been given in many other forms to community needs.

All club members are volunteers. Any money they raise is given back to the community. The Newmarket Lions are looking for service minded men and women ages 18 and up who are interested in helping those less fortunate within their community.

Join the Newmarket Lions at an informational meeting to learn more about the Lions Club this Monday, June 22nd at 6:30 p.m. in the Newmarket Public Library.

Another example of community support statewide is The Lions Camp Pride for special needs children located in New Durham supported by the New Hampshire Lions Clubs.

If you have any questions, please contact Phil or Sharon Mitchell at 659-5421 or Mike Baillargeon at 778-8496.
