Handspun Yarn, Green Business and Compost Bins at Saturday's Market

Three Guest Vendors will be at the July 18th market:

Suzanne Beers
is the Newmarket Farmers' Market artisan Saturday July 18th. For five years she has been buying fleeces from local farms then spi
nning and dyeing to create her yarn. Rug hooking kits, painted boxes, knitting needles, hand spun yarn, and knitting kits are available at the market. Suzy will grace the market Saturday with her spinning demonstrations.

Green Alliance
offers information for sustainable choices. This green business was established to increase the profits of the
businesses that are having the least impact on the environment and encourage more sustainable business practices. Dr. Nathan Swanson of Newmarket Dental is a local customer now using recyclable products and practicing sustainable methods.

The Newmarket Conservation Commission will be bringing 2 rain barrels, 3 composters and 12 kitchen pails for composting from the Northeast Resource Recovery Association. These will be for sale at the market with prices ranging from $8 to $60. They will also have order forms if people want to pick them up at another location. The NCC has been active for many years managing the Conservation Fund, identifying prime wetlands, offering educational programs and tours, developing trails and interpretive materials for conservation areas, working with landowners and partners to conserve land and protect water resources.
