The Brandy Irish Trio will be performing downtown this Saturday from 11 to 2 in the bandstand on Main.
Brandy Irish has been playing and teaching piano, organ and voice for more than 25 years. She has worked as a Jazz keyboardist and vocalist as a solo from Maine to New York and with some of the Boston areas top Jazz musicians including Tony Zano, Michael Shea, John Clark and many others. She has also been both musician and choir director at a number of churches including one year as keyboardist for St.Mary's Catholic Church in Newmarket. Her Trio will be gracing Main with tunes downtown Saturday.
Every Saturday through Labor Day musicians will be performing outside at the War Memorial Pavilion otherwise referred to as the Main Street Bandstand.
The Main Street Music Serenade Series is sponsored by Lamprey Arts & Culture Alliance (LACA) and We Dig Newmarket. From 11 to 2 on Saturdays music will be heard drifting down Main as errands are run and breakfast is eaten.
