This vehicle is also used as a mobile exhibit for children to tour while learning about animals. As an off-site adoption vehicle, the NHSPCA can go into communities without a humane agency and to people who might otherwise purchase animals from a pet store or on the internet.
Each animal pictured on the side of the van was adopted from the NHSPCA.

One of the dogs came from Hurricane Katrina, another was rescued from a hoarder in a Portsmouth parking lot and one of the cats came to the NHSPCA so severely injured that his leg was amputated to save his life. Each animal painted on the side of the van represents the thousands of animals the NHSPCA receives every year that find a second chance. Click on the photos to view the cats and dogs for adoption.
