Women's A Capella Quartet to Sing Outside Downtown Newmarket 8/8

This Saturday New England Sound - Women's A Capella Quartet will be performing on Main Street in the bandstand from 11 to 2 p.m. They sing a variety of songs ranging from standards, ballads, up-tunes and lots more in between.

New England Sound formed in 2009 and competed in their first contest in April 2009
at their Area Contest and Competition in New Haven, CT where they placed in the top ten.

The quartet consists of Karen, the Bari; Sheila, the Bass; Barb, the Tenor; and Camille, the Lead. They are proudly associated with an award-winning chorus, Sounds of the Seacoast out of Portsmouth, a member of Harmony, Incorporated. For more information about the quartet, contact Camille.

rday through Labor Day musicians will be performing outside at the War Memorial Pavilion otherwise referred to as the Main Street Bandstand.




The
Main Street Music
Serenade Series is sponsored by Lamprey Arts & Culture Alliance (LACA) and We Dig Newmarket. From 11 to 2 on Saturdays music will be heard drifting down Main as errands are run and breakfast is eaten.
