Eagles Nest Orchard Sells Fresh Cider Saturdays at Farmers Market

Eagles Nest Orchard offers fresh, unpasteurized cider to market goers at the Newmarket Farmers' Market every Saturday. Kirk Kucharski, a mason by trade, desired to have an apple orchard surrounding his home since he was a young boy. Having lived in Exeter his whole life, he’s always been drawn to the orchards in the area with their early spring blossoms, growth, harvesting and cider pressing throughout the season.
Twenty years ago Kirk started planting trees around his home, adding new and different varieties each year; now totaling well over 175 trees. With year round maintenance and care, those trees have matured to yield an abundance of high quality apples.

These apples include Macintosh, Liberty, Paula Reds, Honey Crisp, Nova Spy, and Cortand among others.

Kirk uses an antique cider press to produce his sweet cider. Having always supplied family and friends with his sweet cider and apples, they have encouraged him to sell to the public, what they’ve enjoyed for years.

The Kucharski’s, Patty and Kirk, have thoroughly enjoyed their involvement and the atmosphere of the Newmarket Farmers’ Market. For more information, contact Eagles Nest Orchard.

The Newmarket Farmers' Market is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to1 p.m. in the Stone Church parking lot through October 10th. The weekly vendors offer fresh and organic food choices.
