The Newmarket Farmers' Market Cookbook sold out during last Saturday's Market. More will be available this Saturday for $1.50. The cookbook lists the musicians, food vendors and volunteers who gave the Market shape and substance. The recipes are favorites of vendors and patrons of the Market, and include ingredients available from the Market such as oysters, pastured pork chops, oyster mushrooms, flounder and garlic scapes.
Jill Leavenworth, the market coordinator, created this cookbook as a commemoration of the first Newmarket Farmers' Market season at the Stone Church.

The cover art and design is by Michael Johnston, a local artist painting en plein air at the market on several occasions.
