The Baker's Table will be presenting market goers with a delectable array of baked goods at the upcoming Holiday Newmarket Farmers' Market on Saturday November 21st from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stone Church.
Theresa Simon is the baker of Baker's Table. She lives on the Great Bay in Greenland. For thirty years she's been baking, specializing in old fashioned baking. Theresa bakes using just a wooden spoon and an old fashioned McCoy ceramic Bowl and 100% all natural ingredients. These ingredients include sweet cream butter, farm fresh local eggs, hand made preserves, and freshly cracked pecans and walnuts.
These fresh baked items freeze wonderfully, wrapped in wax paper or placed in Tupperware for up to 1 month, says Theresa. Once thawed they taste just baked. Banana Bread, Blueberry Cake, Sour Cream Coffee Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Old Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Thumb Print Cookies and Vegan baked goods are some of her creations.
"I enjoy baking. I feel peaceful and content. Most important, is watching
everyone enjoy the muffins, cookies, cakes and breads I've created." For more information, contact Theresa.
November 21st is the first and December 19th is the second Holiday Farmers' Market at the Stone Church.
The Newmarket Farmers' Market will be held every third Saturday of the month through March at the Stone Church where fresh and organic food choices are offered. For more information, contact Jill Leavenworth, market coordinator.
