Free Winter Concert by Musique du Bois at Library Friday Evening 12/4

Musique du Bois will perform a one hour free winter concert at the Newmarket Public Library on Friday, December 4th at 7 p.m. The musical group is a woodwind quintet comprised of five instrumentalists playing the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn in F. They will playing seasonal pieces Friday night for attendees in celebration of the holidays.

Musique du Bois has been consistently performing for 20 years playing music sections from the 17th to 21st centuries, including such composers as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, Mendelsohn, Holst, and Morton Gould. 

They have played in Seacoast venues such as the Strawbery Banke Winter Stroll, the Exeter Inn, 1876 House (private functions), and the Balsams Hotel Summer Chamber Music Series. They also perform for weddings, parties, and corporate functions from northern Maine to Massachusetts.
