Gift Choices at Newmarket Holiday Farmers' Market Saturday 12/19

Market goers will have the opportunity to choose fresh, organic and local foods for holiday season meals and shop for gifts at the Newmarket Holiday Farmers's Market this Saturday, December 19th from 9 to 1 at the Stone ChurchChoose a stocking or tote and fill them with market items to create a unique holiday gift.

Funky holiday stockings known as HoHo Heels are made by long time Newmarket resident, Pamela Chaffee the Stocking Diva. These HoHo Heels have made an appearance for the second year here in the Seacoast commuminty gathering popularity having been featured in NewHampshire Magazine this month.

The 2009 Farmers' Market Totes feature a painting of downtown Newmarket painted by local artist Candace R. Stella.  Candace is a member of LACA (Lamprey Arts and Culture Alliance).  Canadace's totes are a limited edition.

Bring a stocking or tote and choose CDs of the musicians who have played for market goers this year.  These talented musicians have donated their time and live music to the market in support of the market and the Stone Church.  Consider supporting the musicians.

Select a notecard from Mimi Clark's collection of Newmarket Greeting Cards.  Mimi is a local artist who depicts local scenes and seasonal flare on her cards.  She is also a LACA member and artist who has displayed her work at Ampers& Gallery.
