Archambault Family Tree Farm at Newmarket Farmers' Market 11/21
Archambault Choose and Cut Tree Farm will be bringing a live, decorated tree, along with garlands, swags and wreaths to the first Holiday Newmarket Farmers' Market this Saturday November 21st from 9 to 1 p.m. at the Stone Church. The Archambault Family has been growing choose and cut Christmas Trees for 20 years in Newmarket on Grant Road.
This tree farm has four varieties ready for cutting this year: Fraser, Balsam and Canaan Firs and White Spruce. All of their trees are sheared, shaped, and cared for yearly. The trees grow 6 to 12 years before they are ready for the holiday season. This year they have a bumper crop of trees including a large number 8 feet and higher. Real New Hampshire Christmas trees are a recyclable agriculture crop.
The Archambault Family plants up to two thousand saplings each year. Starting the first weekend in November - John, Linda, Zack, Silas, Jessiey, Katie, and Trevor - opens the tree farm fields for the holiday season. They have three fields open for visitors to stroll where leashed dogs are also welcome.
"Our two dogs, Marley, a Pembroke Corgi, and Jasper, a Black Lab, love all the attention," says Linda Archambault.
"Come have some warm cider, hot chocolate and homemade doughnuts in our Christmas Barn. You can use our handy carts to wheel your tree back to the barn where we will shake and net your tree to make it easier for you to carry home and set up. We will even select, deliver and set up the perfect tree for you."

The tree farm also carries double-sided balsam wreaths, swags, and balsam, cedar, and pine mix garland by the yard.
They are open weekends in November and December from 9:30 to 4.
Contact the Archambault Choose and Cut Tree Farm by email or call 659-2273 for more information.
