Free Anime Film Showing at Newmarket Library Saturday 2/13

The Girls Scouts Anime Interest Group 11194 is showing a free film at the Newmarket Public Library on Saturday, February 13th, at 1:30 p.m.  Bring the family over to the library where seating begins at 1:00 p.m. for this free movie event open to all.
This film received many awards, including the second Oscar ever awarded for Best Animated Feature, the first anime film to win an Academy Award, and the first (and so far only) non-English speaking animation to win. The film also won the Golden Bear at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival and is among the top ten in the BFI list of the 50 films you should see by the age of 14.

This movie program is made possible by the generous donation of the Newmarket Business Association to the Newmarket Public Library.  The money was used to purchase audio visual equipment for the movie programs.
