Free Film at Newmarket Public Library this Saturday April 10th

The Girls Scouts Anime Interest Group 11194 is showing a free animated science fiction film rated PG at the Newmarket Public Library on Saturday, April 10th, at 1:30 p.m.  Bring the family over to the library where seating begins at 1:00 p.m. for this free movie event open to all.
Based on the 1968 novel, The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, this film tells the story of a lonely boy raised by his widowed mother, discovering a giant iron man which fell from space.  Hogarth, with the help of a beatnik named Dean, has to stop the U.S. Military and a federal agent from finding and destroying the Giant.

This movie program is made possible by the generous donation of the Newmarket Business Association to the Newmarket Public Library.  The money was used to purchase audio visual equipment for the movie programs.
